TravelSmart encourages people to reduce their car use by choosing alternatives such as walking, cycling, public transport and carpooling. TravelSmart encourages people to make small changes in their travel choices. These calendars are free to anyone who signs the declaration that they will avoid driving their car on at least one day per week…

The City of Cockburn is encouraging participation in this program  which will continue until October 2012.

Participants are asked to add their name to the “Roll of Honour”  which may be publicised in newsletters, local newspapers and  on the Be Active Cockburn website. You may elect to have only  your initials published for privacy reasons, if you prefer.  There  are fantastic prizes to be won throughout the year.
