Residents and Visitors

The TravelSmart team at the City of Cockburn has introduced a number of ways to help people choose more active and environmentally friendly forms of transport

  • Encouraging behaviour change through the TravelSmart Pledge
  • Access to information through the TravelSmart Guides, the Walking in the City of Cockburn walk trail booklet, and links to Public Transport information
  • Continually improving facilities for cycling, walking and other active forms of transport, including improved access for people with different abilities. (Information about the City’s access and inclusion plan is available here)
  • Informing the Public Transport Authority and Transperth of the needs relevant to the City of Cockburn
  • Opportunity for community input. We encourage you to send in your stories and feedback relating to opportunities for smarter travel in the City of Cockburn
  • Opportunities to join Heart Foundation Walking Groups (co-ordinated locally by the TravelSmart Officer)
  • The chance to meet members of the TravelSmart team, gather information about walking, cycling and public transport, and take part in activities such as pedometer challenges, bike rides and bus tours at City of Cockburn community events
